Greener ties for Jordan and Israel
A cooperative triangle involving Jordan, Israel and the US turns its attention to producing alternative fuels for the two Mideast neighbors.
In wealthy Western countries, renewable energy developments are a source of progress, pride and smart business. For Israel and Jordan, two Middle Eastern countries severely lacking in water and energy resources, renewable energy is a matter of survival.

That’s why there’s been a new green twist to the Trilateral Industrial Development Foundation (TRIDE), founded in 1996 as a pilot project under the wing of the BIRD Foundation – the Israel-US Binational Industrial Research and Development Foundation — to create joint ventures between Israeli, Jordanian and American companies.

Annual Business Meeting Israel – Jordan
INVITATION
The Israel Jordan Chamber of Commerce and the Konrad Adenauer Foundation in Israel have the pleasure of inviting you to an international conference of industrialists and businessmen from Israel, Jordan Europe and the United States.
The event will take place on Monday, 27th of October 2008, at the Beit Shean Guest House in Israel.
1. Goals of the Meeting:
(a) Information on relevant economic developments between Jordan and Israel.
(b) Division into four moderated working groups: Agriculture, Technology, Logistics and Cargo, Industry.
(c) Direct meetings between business people from Israel and Jordan. We will do our best to facilitate convenient conditions for these meetings.
2. Who can register and how to do it:
Representatives from QIZ factories and Jordanian and Israeli business persons are hereby invited, as well as other interested persons. Israeli members of the Israel Jordan Chamber of Commerce will attend the meeting together with Jordanian, Israeli and European officials.
